Job Description

Position Summary
Our Accountant is responsible for activities relating to the financial records of the company including preparation of monthly financial statements, maintenance/reconciliation of all supporting documentation for multiple entities.

- Participate in month-end close, including supporting analyses and reconciliations
- Responsible for reviewing, posting and filing of journal entries
- Prepare and manage account analyses, and investigate significant budget variances
- Analyze financial statements for variances and other issues
- Prepare monthly financial statements of multiple entities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting package(s) as required to financial institutions
- Prepare bank reconciliation of selected entities
- Assist in year-end close and preparation of audit support schedules and documentation

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting required
- Strong analytical and reasoning abilities: ability to perform a high volume of detailed numerical work with speed and accuracy
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and/or Exact-Progression Workflow Explorer (Macola) helpful
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookup and Pivot Tables) required
- Experience with foreign currency accounting a plus
