Position Summary  

 

Our ASI Bag Converter Operator set ups, operates, and maintains a paper converter. They assist with the development of SOPs, maintenance schedules, and training curriculum for converter. 

 

  

 

Schedule   

 

- Monday- Friday  

 

- 10am to 6:30pm  

 

  

 

Responsibilities  

 

- Set up, operate, and maintain the bag converter  

 

- Follow all safety rules and regulations, wear proper PPE equipment and maintain a clean work area  

 

- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers regarding orders and equipment maintenance   

 

- Train operators to set up, operate, and maintain the paper converter  

 

- Meet production output requirements and maintain high quality work  

 

- Willingness to work overtime as needed  

 

  

 

Qualifications   

 

- High School Diploma or GED preferred  

 

- Minimum of 4 years of experience operating and maintaining heavy production equipment  

 

- Ability to stand for expended periods of time  

 

- Ability to lift 35 pounds  

 

- Ability to use a computer including excel and word
